The Davis Lodge at Loafer Creek Falls lies just below Clifton Basin Trailhead in southeastern Idaho. This 711 acre cattle and horse grazing recreational ranch borders the Caribou National Forest on three sides. Located in Idaho's Big Game Unit 73, a Bannock Zone unit that consistently produces record book mule deer with multiple controlled elk hunts and late muzzleloader seasons for antlered and antlerless elk. Wildlife thrives year-round on dense cover, nutrient-rich open hillsides, varied topography for escape and shelter, and two creeks on the acreage: Clifton Creek crosses the east end, and Loafer Creek cascades down from steep rock outcroppings past the cabin. The cabin is a fully refinished 4-bedroom, 2-bath off-grid cabin with a wide-open main level, big fireplace, and sleeps twelve. A 75-head summer grazing operation runs seven pastures and includes welded pipe corrals near the county road. Downata Hot Springs is 19 miles away, Logan-Cache Airport is 36 miles south with jet-capable runway, and Salt Lake International is two hours. Privacy, productivity, and genuine southeast Idaho hunting country in one ranch. Map: https://bit.ly/TheDavisLodge
